Donald Carl Woelfel 81, of Greenwood passed away August 29, 2013. He was born to Alex and Frances (Fessler) Woelfel in New Holstein, WI on April 19,1932. He married Alice Jane (AJ) Catt on November 26, 1955 and she proceeded him in death November 11,1990. He is survived by his current wife of 20 years, Betty (Harris) Woelfel, daughters Joyce Woelfel and Janet Murray, sons Tom and Jim Woelfel, daughter-in-law Dinah (Foster) Woelfel, 8 grandchildren, 3 great grand children, 2 step-daughters Delores King and Donna Benson, 4 step-grandchildren and 6 step-great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Margaret Halbach, Eleanor Klotz, Deloris Kampfer, Doris Turba and Betty Petrie. He was proceeded in death by his parents and 3 brothers, Paul, Clarence and Alex Jr. Don was a member of Our Lady of the Greenwood Church. Visitation will be from 9-11 AM Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Our Lady of the Greenwood Church with services immediately following. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
